E-commerce Packaging for Influencers and Creators

It is a strange new world out there, especially for an old guy like me who has never been much into social media. I may be the last person on earth who is NOT on Facebook and I know FB is now considered old news with new social media platforms sprouting every day. What I do know is that even a household pet can have millions of followers and fans.

So, the question becomes, how can you monetize that popularity and turn it into a profitable business? Not everyone can be a Kardashian with clothing and cosmetic product lines but there are now millions of people (and pets) who have tens or hundreds of thousands of followers. There is a market there for whatever you want to sell including tee shirts, autographed photos, pet toys, and just about anything else you can imagine that is consistent with your brand.

E-commerce Packaging Made Easy

I may not totally understand how Instagram works but I know e-commerce packing. After a few decades in the packaging industry, I doubt there is anything you can decide to sell to your fans and followers that we cannot package with maximum visual impact and at minimal cost.  There could potentially be several people involved in helping you bring your products to market. They include:

A packaging structural designer – This is the person that determines how the box is sized and shaped. They can also create an insert to protect and present the item well. A couple of good examples are a water bottle or beer mug. This person also creates a final die line or template so graphics can be plugged in.

A packaging graphic designer – This person creates artwork for the die line mentioned above. A good, experienced one can create various types of designs that are printable onto corrugated shipping boxes. Most graphic designers create digital images online and are not experienced on flexographic or other packaging printing formats.

A fulfillment company – This is the place that ships your item being sold and where we ship your boxes. They pick and pack orders and ship them for you. Many companies like this are totally focused on e-commerce and make ideal partners for you.
