We Have October Capacity for Your DTC Packaging Order!
September is almost over, the price increase we predicted is now fact, and the holiday rush is rapidly growing. Most of our DTC packaging customers heeded our warnings and have their pre-price increase packaging neatly tucked away in their warehouse or are at least already in our production schedule.
It’s not too late for holiday boxes!
This means we are in an enviable position to be able to deliver most corrugated DTC box orders within three weeks. Other suppliers are out four to six weeks, but thanks to early purchasing from our customer base, we have October capacity to spare and can easily meet your delivery requirements. This comes with a limitation – if you wait until mid or late October, the production schedule picture will likely change for the worse.
Does this apply to custom DTC packaging sizes with inserts?
Yes, absolutely! We can produce that type of box and insert with the same lead time. One of things that makes us stand out in a crowded field is our focus on presentation and the unboxing experience. We have been doing this for 14 years and have produced millions of boxes with thousands of designs. We rarely see an application we have never done and that saves you precious time and money.
How many sizes do you have available?
We have well over 200 cutting dies available including many of the most popular e-commerce sizes. Since a custom cutting die may cost over $1,000, our die inventory can also save you time and money.
Do custom print plates slow down the process?
I can tell you ALL print plates are custom and no two are identical. However, we have never seen a situation where print plates caused a delay and kept us from producing our customers’ orders. They are typically made at the same time as we are writing specs, making samples, approving graphics and ordering corrugated board. Everything is moving simultaneously and comes together at the end, and on time.
What creates delays in the process?
I am sorry to say that in most delayed situations, it is because we are waiting for something from the customer. That often includes product samples, artwork, and the many approvals you will have to review and sign off on. Our unofficial slogan is “no surprises” and that is because you will see everything including color samples before we begin actual production.
